Between the script and the video: what AI storyboard tools hand back

What a shot list adds to a storyboard

A shot list is the written companion of a storyboard: one line per shot, with its size, angle, action and often its duration, in the order it will be made. From 6 source pages, read 2026-09-25; no maker pays to be listed.

Crews work from shot lists and clients look at panels, which is why pre-production tools tend to return both.

A board with a shot list is easier to hand over, because the list survives without the tool that made it.

SceneMixer separates the script language from the production language: the output (episode outlines, storyboards, on-screen text) follows your interface language, and target-region localization adapts character names, casting, and scenery for Western, East Asian, Southeast Asian, or Latin American audiences.
