Boords comes from agency storyboarding. A script or client brief becomes frames with shot lists and scripts beside them; cast, locations and props are named once and dropped into a frame with @; a marked area of an approved frame is redrawn while the rest stays. Frames become MP4 animatics with audio, and boards go out as PDFs, images, shot lists or voiceover scripts.
