OiiOii and StoryShort, field by field
OiiOii and StoryShort read differently on five of the six fields: board output, cast, panel edits, to video and board export. They read alike on the camera. From 3 source pages, read 2026-09-25 to 2026-10-25; no maker pays to be listed.

|---|---|---|
| What the storyboard comes back as | Image panels | None given |

| How one panel is changed | Linked panels | Redraw the panel |

1What sets the two apart
Neither describes a camera control, and both draw image panels. OiiOii accepts any image as a style or content reference, edits through linked panels and generates video from first and last frames; StoryShort keeps each character's face and outfit the same, redoes a single scene after the episode is rendered and renders scenes with spoken lines. Only OiiOii exports boards.
2The differing fields, in the vendors' words
Four of the five differing fields are quoted below; the other one, panel edits, is in the table above.
