Text2Video Board

Between the script and the video: what AI storyboard tools hand back

The board register as a data file

All 144 rows, 116 copied statements and 28 silent fields, are in one CSV file, each with its tool, field, source page and dates, released under ODC-By 1.0. As of 2026-09-25.

Inclusion rule. Every column in the file. Order. File order.

1Using the file

Filter on a field and the file gives every vendor's wording on, say, export in one list; filter on a tool and it gives that tool's whole sheet. Silent fields are rows too, carrying the file's empty wording, so counting silences is a matter of counting rows.

The short labels on the register, such as image panels or linked panels, are not stored; they are derived from the sentence in the value column and from the closed list on the method page.

Nothing in the file is a price or a plan limit. The register describes what a board is and what can be done to it, which changes less often than what it costs, so the rows stay useful for longer between readings. Where a vendor page gives its own date, that date is in value_since; otherwise the column repeats the day the page was read.

Before quoting a row, read its applies_to column. It names the part of the vendor page the line was copied from, a FAQ answer, a feature card or a numbered step, so the line can be found again after a redesign.

3What a storyboard turns into

Between the script and the video in “Data”, SceneMixer hands back the following, in its own words:

Paste a scene or a short script and SceneMixer gives you a storyboard — numbered shots with framing and seconds — and then a moving version of each segment, which you can join into a rough cut of the scene.

SceneMixer, Using SceneMixer for Previs and Animatics Before a Live-Action Shoot (read 2026-10-13)

The shot seconds in the storyboard add up to the segment length, so editing them changes it.

SceneMixer, Fixing One Shot Without Redoing Everything — “Can I change the duration of a segment?” (read 2026-10-13)

The quote column. Each reading in the file also carries the words on its source page that it was read from, so any row can be checked against that page. Rows recorded as not stated on the pages read leave it empty.
